Last week I turned 43. Whee. On the plus side the Parental Units gave me a REALLY nice gift.
BEHOLD!
Here, take a closer look at it:

Mom hand cut each strip and sewed them all together on her sewing machine to make the top. Dad hand quilted the top to the backing with a line of quilting along each seam between the the strips. Yeah, it took a while.
