R.I.P. USA 1776 – 2010 March 21, 2010

Posted by Mitchell in Health, Home, Politics.

Cause of death: suicide.

Like someone in Ace’s comments said, “234 years was a good run.”

On the plus side, The United Socialist State of the Americas was born today.  All hail our Marxist socialist overlords!

United Socialist State of the Americas

Soon our lives will be no better than anyone else’s in the world. The Democrats will helpfully explain how this is better for everyone. And we’ll all get to enjoy our free healthcare! Or, failing that – our free deathcare. We’re in a Brave New World now comrades. Learn to love it, or at least pretend to do so.

I’d give you a hard time for a bad attitude if I didn’t have a pretty bitchin’ bad attitude right now myself.

What could go right in all of this? Well, it could get bound up in courts right quick. It also has a long fuse, at least for some of it. There aren’t a great many months the libtards have before the next election and so we can hope for a sweeping out of the trash, and getting right down to the business of reversing what damage can be reversed.

But they can do a hell of a lot of damage in the meantime.

The hidden bonus that could be waiting is for a sea-change of sorts – one in which people wake up and realize that hope-n-change kind of thinking is really damned naive and childish. I would hope that the more subtle payoff in any such sea-change is that the republicans actually become conservatives rather than bank on “brand name” and don’t see mixup as a mandate for their screwball policies.

Enas – please change the above to read “…and don’t see mixup as a mandate for their screwball policies.”

That “don’t” is really important. If republicans can’t be conservative, it’s time to throw them out, too.

As I told cbullitt, this is not the end. This is but the first salvo. I don’t know about y’all, but I ain’t giving up.

4. Enas Yorl - March 22, 2010

It’s fixed comrade King.

I usually try to look on the bright side of things, but we can’t pretend that this wasn’t a serious blow y’all. We also can’t pretend that courts are likely to do anything to remedy this situation. The establishment of Socialist Insecurity in the first place, and in more recent times, upholding McCain-Feingold prove the folly of placing any faith in that thin reed of hope. Indeed, I think that the courts will leap at the chance to cement this sweeping new federal power into place.

I fear that we are in for very dark times ahead comrades.

I don’t know, Enas….the SCOTUS is still pretty pissed off at Obama for his dissing them at the SOTU address, remember? Since then two have publicly come forward to set the record straight. As for the liberal members….they, too, were upset, because Obama didn’t single out the conservatives. He attacked the whole SC.

And if that doesn’t help to cheer you up, there’s this:

Despair not, Wolverines, for there is hope.

I posted this a little early just for you Enas.

7. Nicole - March 23, 2010

I had a comment to post, but it started to look like a blogrant, so I spared you. 🙂 All I can say is this lil Wolverine has no hope left right now, but I’ll come back around eventually.

I can’t hasz blogrant?

Nothing like a little rant amongst peers. Plus we get to laugh and snicker when you turn red and veins pop out on your forehead. Chipmunk sounds are always a bonus when watching someone go nonlinear.

9. Enas Yorl - March 24, 2010

Oh by all means, rant away Nicole, or anyone else who cares to do so. Of course we all have our own blogs and like to keep the Good Stuff for prime time.
