The Parental Units’ New Table January 25, 2010

It’s actually a bronze sculpture called “Let’s Do Lunch” and they just bought it yesterday. Is this beyond cool or what? (Clicky on pic to embiggenate).Awesome Frog Table

The picture above I swiped from the artist’s website: Frogman Collection. Hit the link for more froggy goodness.

Dunno where they’re going to put it since their house is already kind of full.  Well, I suppose they could replace the end table they have in the living room and give me the end table (which is itself a really cool table made out of a large manzanita root).  I wouldn’t mind that :-D.

I *heart* frogs!!! If my house weren’t full of stuff, I would seriously consider this too 😉

Did you clicky the Frogman Collection link Aggie? LOTS of good stuff there. My parents and I have been collecting Tim’s stuff for several years now and we can’t stop! Verrrry addictive. In fact, the place where they got this table is having a sale – 25% off(!) of selected items. Yeah, I’m going there tonight to look.

I have seen his stuff before, but only small pieces. I just fell in *heart* with the “Cupid” one….

Oh, and check spam hell for one of my posts….I posted to McGoo on the previous thread, and it’s not there 😦

A friend of my mother’s was like that about turtles–sculptures, ashtrays, prints, towels, magazine racks–everywhere in the main and vacation houses.

We’re not that bad Cbullitt. Our frog collections are pretty much limited to this guy’s stuff.

Cruel Wife is a batrachiophile (eleventy) to the extreme – to the point where I do call her “Frog”. She is in table-lust over that functional frog-art table thingy.

That is pretty doggone cool. There is a bronze artist at our local Renaissance Fair that I would so buy every single thing he does if I ever win the lottery. Unfortunately, he does not allow photography of his work and he doesn’t have a website so I can’t share any pictures. I did buy a fountain for my mom that I can grab a shot of, but it isn’t one of the cool animal and glass tables. 🙂

Yah, I hear ya Lemur King. I’ve been lusting after that table myself for a while. I had to console myself with a lesser frog sculpture instead ;-).

Oh there’s so much pretty stuff I’d buy at that gallery if I had the cash Nicole! One of these days when I get rich! I guess I better get started on that then.
Put up a picture of the fountain – I want to see it!
