I think I’m rather pleased with this one.

 Mountain and Lake

This painting is from a picture of a mountain and lake in Yosemite.  The mountain looks to be Half Dome.  I could do more with it, but it doesn’t really need more done with it.  Part of learning how to paint is learning when to stop.

Each painting you put up seems to be better, Enas! I get the feeling you’re getting more out of this class than others. Yes?

But – I see no happy target-shooter out in the distance? Hmm…

Thankee McGoo! Practice, practice, practice. Actually, everyone still in the class has shown a lot of improvement since when we first started. I’m still not where I want to be yet, but I’m getting there. The happy target shooter is just behind that tree over there. Taking a break if you know what I mean andithinkyoudo.

Harumph! Um, yes. Load check, no doubt.

Test – sorry. Delete please.

Best one yet Enas!

I will gently disagree with you bmac – I liked the boats-in-the-harbor one (Misty Morning) and the Country Lane (Thanksgiving post).

‘Course opinions are like (well – no need to get specific) – we’ve all got at least one.

I’d buy Misty Morning, frame it, and hang it on my wall if it were for sale. It’s my kind of painting.

I’ve had the unique pleasure of seeing “Misty Morning” in person.
Kinda like seeing a celebrity!

Thanks y’all! Yah, the boats is the the best one of the semester but this one was technically harder I think. I’ve got the boats one framed up and looks really nice. I’ll have to get another picture of it up.

This current one is growin’ on me.
