Well hey!  The local community college has some night art classes this fall!  I can take the watercolor class again, or ceramics, or Art 201 Life Drawing I:  An introduction to the depiction of the human form with studies in anatomy and pictorial organization.  Emphasis on technical skills base on observational studies.

I did some of this, years ago in Intro to Drawing but I could use some a lot more practice in this area.  Hmm…

Is that out in the NLV campus?

All of those night classes are at the west Charleston campus. They got an endowment to build an Art Complex there some years ago so the have most of their art classes there. The NLV site is closer to home, but in a week or two we’re moving the office to downtown so work will be much closer to the Charleston campus and home so that will be nice.

We lived near Charleston and Jones for about 20 years.
Isn’t that Art Complex next to the Mental Health center?
Does it still look like the MH patients picked out the paint colors?

The Art complex is a smallish addition on the other side of the campus, next to Torrey Pines. Yah, all the buildings are still neon color tho. They added purple neon lighting to some of them too.
