I finally got around to getting this put together.
It went together fairly easily and it looks pretty good. Some of the stuff didn’t fit quite perfectly, but what the hell. I haven’t tried it out yet because the glue has to cure for 24 hours. Sometime next week I’ll take it over to my Dad’s workshop and put a nice stain and polyurethane finish on it.
Now, if I can just find a toy cow…

Heh. First thing I looked for on the ‘cow’ site was to see if they had any of the “asshole” or “doofus” category of folks.
That’s a neat trebuchet. I will be hoping for a video of its deadly cow-tossing accuracy.

Video – yah, hopefully. My digital camera can do video too, but I’m not sure wordpress supports its file format. I may have to do some youtubery thing and link that.
How ’bout this: Launch ziplock baggies full of milk. There you’d be launching the *essence* of cow.
How ’bout launching itty-bitty cow flops. then you’ll be launching the other essence of cow. (Sorry, LK. I couldn’t resist.)
I bet if you get the video, we can manage to get the format converted. WordPress accepts:
jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, doc, ppt, odt, mp3, mp4, m4a, wav, ogg, mov, wmv, avi, mpg.
I would check your v-camera and see what formats it’ll record in. But I am a doofus….

My camera records in .avi format, but freeware version of WordPress does not support it. In fact, it does not support ANY video format as far as I can tell. Ah, yes you do have to purchase at least one memory upgrade to get the privilege to do videos. 20 bucks for a year is the minimum. That’s not too bad, and it will give me an incentive to use more of my camera’s features.
That’s kind of what I thought. However, you could upload it to a file hosting site, and then link it, couldn’t you?

Well, rats. As you guys have probably figgered out, I grabbed that format list from my own WP editor page. And since I have upgraded memory/storage (hey – the porn has to be stored somewhere!) I guess they allow me to do video.
I didn’t know the freeware was video-restricted. My duh.
I mean, like geez, really, where do they get off putting restrictions on software like that. Don’t my good intentions count for anything against the fact that it’s free?
I don’t believe these people – what has free software come to these days?
BTW – nice cow selection. Holsteins are my favorites (grew up right next to a dairy farm). They are gentle natured and mostly curious.
So if you trebuchuck a Holstein at someone, it’s a good way to say “Howdy, no foul intended.” You’d rather everyone was in a jolly mood when you go ask for your cow back.
