You have widened my world, Enas. I had no idea there were over 12 species of artisan bacon. I didn’t even know there was one! I thought bacon that was sold primed and ready for the microwave was as good as it got.

So did I Elzbth. At least until I clicked on a small link labelled “Bacon Blog” and was thus exposed to the wider bacon world. I’m highly suggestable in food terms so I went to the grocery store today and bought bacon. I got the most expensive pound of bacon available they had to make comparisons – Hormel Black Label. I’m not going for BotM, but I am getting the “Father’s Hickory Smoked Cinnamon-Sugar Country Bacon”. I’ll post my results.
